Solar Panel Roof Mounts
Solar roof mounting systems and kits for residential, commercial, and industrial rooftops.

Apollo SEAM
An all-aluminum, non-penetrating mounting system for standing seam metal roofs. Clamps grip the raised seam — no holes in the roof — with standard kits for the common seam types and custom clamps made for the rest.

Matrix ECO
A ballasted mounting system for flat roofs: concrete blocks hold the array down, so nothing is drilled through the roof. Three core parts and a 5–30° adjustable tilt keep installation quick and the cost sensible for commercial and residential projects.

Matrix ELITE
A low-profile ballasted system for commercial flat roofs, in east-west or south-facing layouts at 5°, 10°, or 15°. The aerodynamic shape turns wind into hold-down force, so the array needs less ballast — and puts less weight on the roof.

Nova TRIPOD
An adjustable solar panel tilt mount for flat and low-slope roofs, built on a folding tripod: set any angle from 0° to 45°, then fix it by ballast, concrete foundation, or chemical bolt. Standalone, matrix, and east-west arrangements adapt to almost any roof.

Solaris HOOK
A tile roof solar mounting system built on three components — rail, clamp, and roof hook. One platform covers Roman, S-curve, flat, interlocking, concrete, and clay tile roofs — and slate.

Solaris SHINGLE
An all-aluminum asphalt shingle solar mounting system that flashes every roof attachment with metal and an EPDM gasket — water sheds over metal, not over sealant.

Solaris WAVE
An all-aluminum metal roof solar panel mount for trapezoidal, IBR, and corrugated roofs. Standard clamp kits fit the common sheet profiles, factory-made custom kits cover the rest, and the lightweight, simplified design keeps both material and labor costs where a commercial rooftop budget needs them.
About Solar Panel Roof Mounts
Megawa Solar's solar panel roof mounts are designed for installers and EPC contractors who need reliable, fast-to-deploy mounting systems across diverse rooftop conditions. Every system in this category is built from 6005-series aluminum alloy (AL6005-T5 or T6), chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance.
Tile Roof
Roman, flat, or Spanish clay/concrete tiles on residential rooftops
Metal Sheet Roof
Trapezoidal or corrugated metal roofing on commercial/industrial buildings
Asphalt Shingle Roof
Asphalt shingle roofs common in North American residential construction
Standing Seam Roof
Standing seam metal roofs — non-penetrating clamp attachment
Flat Roof (Budget)
Flat commercial roofs — ballasted, zero penetration, cost-effective
Flat Roof (Premium)
Flat roofs requiring aerodynamic design and architectural integration
Our pitched roof solutions (Solaris HOOK, WAVE, SHINGLE, and Apollo SEAM) each target a specific roof material, ensuring optimal load distribution and waterproofing. For flat roofs, we offer both ballasted systems (Matrix ECO and ELITE) that require zero roof penetration, and tripod-based solutions (Nova TRIPOD) for maximum tilt flexibility.
Wind and snow loads are engineered to each project under JIS C 8955, ASCE/SEI 7 and IBC, or Eurocode EN 1991. We provide structural calculation support for commercial and industrial projects, and every system ships with detailed installation guides to minimize on-site labor time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about solar panel roof mounts from installers, EPCs, and distributors.
The primary factor is your roof material. Tile roofs use Solaris HOOK, metal sheet roofs use Solaris WAVE, asphalt shingles use Solaris SHINGLE, and standing seam metal roofs use Apollo SEAM. For flat roofs, choose between ballasted systems (Matrix ECO/ELITE) for zero penetration or Nova TRIPOD for adjustable tilt angles.
Matrix ECO is our cost-effective ballasted flat roof solution with a 5-30 degree tilt range, ideal for standard commercial installations. Matrix ELITE is a low-profile system in east-west or south-facing layouts at 5°, 10°, or 15°. Its aerodynamic shape turns wind into hold-down force, so the array needs less ballast and puts less weight on the roof.
It depends on the system. Pitched roof systems (Solaris HOOK, WAVE, SHINGLE) attach to the roof structure through the roofing material. Apollo SEAM uses non-penetrating clamps for standing seam roofs. Matrix ECO and ELITE are fully ballasted with zero roof penetration. Nova TRIPOD can be either ballasted or mechanically attached.
Wind and snow loads are engineered to each project rather than fixed per product. For Matrix ECO and Matrix ELITE, the ballast is calculated for the site as well. Design codes: JIS C 8955 (Japan), ASCE/SEI 7 and IBC (US), Eurocode EN 1991 (Europe). Structural calculations are available for specific project requirements.
Yes. Megawa Solar offers full OEM and ODM services for roof mounting systems. We can customize dimensions, materials, finishes, and packaging to match your brand specifications. Contact our engineering team for details.
It depends on the roof covering. On tile roofs, hooks fix to the battens or rafters under the tiles. On trapezoidal and corrugated metal sheets, L-feet or clamp kits fasten to the sheet or the purlin beneath it. On standing seam roofs, clamps grip the raised seam and nothing is drilled. On asphalt shingles, flashed L-feet fasten into the roof decking. On these pitched roofs, rails and clamps then carry the panels. On flat roofs, ballast holds the array down, or a tripod is anchored with ballast, a concrete foundation, or chemical bolts.
